Remie is 11 months!

I can't believe that my baby is 11 months old already! Where did the time go? Remie is now pulling himself up and moving all over the place. He hasn't started walking yet but that is ok with me! Last Sunday, we took Remie to breakfast with Santa. He screamed when he sat on Santa's lap! Once he was off of Santa, Remie looked back at him with a smirk like "ha ha! My daddy has me now!" it was too funny!

It's been a long time

Gosh, It's been a long time since I posted on Remie David's blog. I forgot my user name and password and wasn't able to log in!

A lot has been going on with Remie since I last posted. He now has 4 teeth and is "crawling" like crazy. He chases our poor dog, Darla, everywhere! He even takes her toys from her!! He is now 23 lbs and 29 inches long! I can't believe how big he is getting!

I am starting to think about his birthday party. I think I am just going to invite the family over to our house for cake and ice cream. It's hard to plan something because he still takes 2 naps a day and he is a crab if he misses those naps. I am going to make the party from 1:00pm-3:00pm and hopefully he will go down for his nap at 3:00pm.

We are planning a trip to NC to visit my parents. They are going to watch Remie David for a few days while Remie and I go off to Wilmington for some much needed R&R. I am sure that we are going to have a great time!

Jumperoo!

Today I put Remie in his jumperoo for the first time. It was during his fussy period so I wasn't really sure how much he would like it. He loved it and I loved it! Remie didn't fuss one bit while he was in it! I am going to have to use this everyday!! Note to self: Buy everyone I know with kids a jumperoo!

First Taste of Cereal!

Last night Remie had his first taste of cereal. As you can tell from the pictures, he didn't really like it. He whined and cried the entire time I was feeding him! Finally when we got near the end, he started opening his mouth for the spoon but he still wasn't happy about eating! I know that if he is anything like his Daddy, he will learn to love eating very soon.

5 Months Old!

I cant believe the my baby is 5 months old already! He is growing so fast. Remie is rolling over and even starting to sit up on his own. He has a lot of fun playing with his feet!

First Swim!

Today it was so hot that I thought it would be great for Remie to take his first dip in his baby pool. I got him all lathered up with sunscreen, put on his new bathing suit with matching hat and brought him outside. The minute the little guy hit the water he started crying. We tried to show him how fun the pool was by splashing and playing around but he wanted nothing to do with it. Well, better luck next time I suppose!

Sleeping Angel

Remie loves to sleep on his side. The only problem is that lately he starts out on his side but then he rolls to his belly. Ofcourse, Remie hates being on his belly so it wakes him up and I have to go roll him back.

Ha ha! As I am writing this Remie started crying in his crib. I went in there and ofcourse he had rolled to his belly!
